Ben Williams (Ben Jalosa Williams AEA/SAG-AFTRA) is an actor, sound designer, video designer, and director in New York City. He has worked exclusively on the creation and development of new plays and experimental productions.

He is a member of Elevator Repair Service and a founding member of Minor Theater with Julia Jarcho. Other collaborators include Christina Masciotti, The Wooster Group, Lily Whitsitt and Door 10, Suzanne Bocanegra, Big Dance Theater, Sibyl Kempson, Rich Maxwell and the New York City Players, Spiegelworld, Julie Atlas Muz and Mat Fraser, Moisés Kaufman, Kate Benson, Lee Sunday Evans, and the Shaking Ray Levis. He has toured extensively across 5 continents, to venues including the Sydney Opera House, the Prague Quadrennial, the American Repertory Theater, and the Noël Coward Theater in London's West End. Awards for sound design: OBIE, Lucille Lortel, Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award, and the inaugural Third Coast International Audio Festival “Audio Unbound” Award.

Ben produces and curates category : other, an award-winning platform for experimental audio. He freelances as an audio consultant (clients include the NBA, Storycorps, Harvard) and teaches sound design at The New School.
